About me!
Isaiah Lenoue (they/them) has always been fascinated by the different elements of the arts. From an early age, Isaiah used their imagination in a variety of ways, directing war films with inanimate objects, composing musicals with the family piano and recording short films on their mother’s laptop. From experimenting with mixed media collages to delving into the nuances of photography, Isaiah's artistic journey eventually found its true expression in the captivating world of film. In 2012 Isaiah was chosen as a Seattle International Film Festival Films 4 Families juror. In highschool they directed a documentary that went on to be featured in their city’s newspaper. They honed and developed their craft, editing short content for their school’s news network, which broadcasted to the entire city.
After being accepted into the University of Southern California for Film and Television Production they became the go-to person in their cohort for post production while also working as a lead technical support for the editing labs at the school. They have garnered recommendations from their faculty for their technical and creative ability. With over seven years of experience as an editor, producer, and occasional director, Isaiah's journey at USC has been marked by impactful projects, including the USC short film "Siren Salon". Dedicated to the art of storytelling, they love to explore open ended worlds full of intrigue, excitement and danger. They have worked as a Post Supervisor for internet comedy group Rocket Science and award nominated short film The Girl Without Magic. They recently edited an advertisement for the popular card game Flesh and Blood. They are currently producing an independent art film Rouge focusing on the critical examination of harmful practices within the cosmetic industry.
Fascinated with narratives that lie right outside of perceived reality, Isaiah works to utilize film to create entire worlds, where imagination takes its full uninterrupted form. As a nonbinary artist, Isaiah is deeply committed to authentic representation, consistently featuring LGBTQ+ characters in their films as a means of uplifting and amplifying voices within their community.
